Palisade Sod is a Zoysia that requires a MINIMUM of 4 hours filtered sunlight daily. If you have less than 4 hours of filtered sunlight, Palisade sod may not be the correct sod for your yard. There are no exchanges or refunds on sod.
Palisade is a vegetative produced, medium broad textured, high-density turf. It is considered suitable for home lawns, golf fairways and roughs, sports fields, industrial parks and highway mediums.
The density is uniform, it has a rapid re-growth rate with few seed heads and has a low thatching tendency.
The sod does not need a lot of water, is shade tolerant, cold hardy, heat tolerant, and salt tolerant.
It is a medium to coarse textured turf noted for its shade tolerance and low water use requirements.
It will tolerate mowing as close as ½” with good weed competitions ideally as high as 2” to 2 ½” for home lawns.
