Palisades Zoysia requires a MINIMUM of 4 hours filtered sunlight daily. If you have less than 4 hours of filtered sunlight, Palisades may not be the correct sod for your yard. There are no exchanges or refunds on sod.
Palisades is a vegetative produced, medium broad textured, high density turf. It is considered suitable for home lawns, golf fairways and roughs, sports fields, industrial parks and highway mediums.
It has uniform density, rapid re-growth rate, has few seed heads and has a low thatching tendency.
It does not need a lot of water, is shade tolerant, cold hard, heat tolerant, and salt tolerant.
Palisades is a medium to coarse textured turf noted for its shade tolerance and low water use requirements.
It will tolerate mowing as close as ½” with good weed competitions ideally as high as 2” to 2 ½” for home lawns.
